How to Sell your Vehicle at Auction with Us
Selling your car or van with
'Sure Sell' is simple. There are some straightforward
qualifying conditions (shown below) for your vehicle, before we can
sell it for you.
These simple conditions are designed for both your and our
protection. After that, simply contact the 'Sure Sell' team at BCA
on 0845 803 5338 (Monday - Friday 8.30am to
5.30pm) or via email by using the form on the 'Contact Us'
page.
They will advise you how to proceed, the selling fee we will
deduct from the sale price achieved for your vehicle, and the BCA
auction centre(s) near you. It really is that simple. To see for

Vehicle qualifying conditions for 'Sure
Sell'
1. You must be the current owner to sell your vehicle with
'Sure Sell', and will need your vehicle's V5c document.
What's a V5c document?
2. We do not sell unofficial
Japanese imports (*).
3. Your vehicle cannot have been an insurance "write-off". If
you are unsure whether your vehicle has been a "write-off", please
contact us to sell it at one of our specialist auction
centres.
4. If your vehicle has finance of no more than 85% of the Guide
price, BCA may be able to arrange for settlement of the outstanding
amount from the sale proceeds. Please ensure that you have a
copy of the Finance Co settlement letter available.
5. You will need show proof of address and ID when offering your
vehicle for sale.
